WeatherFest is an annual event for weather enthusiasts of all ages and a chance to meet meteorology professionals and see how the science of meteorology is put to practical use. The National Weather Service in conjunction with the Florida State University Meteorology Department invites you to join them for a day of fun and education. Learn how forecasts and warnings are produced and disseminated, how meteorologists are trained, and see displays from numerous supporting agencies and the media as well.
