National Weather Service Spotter Class
The Skywarn class is presented by the National Weather Service and is available as an online webinar. Formally called “National Weather Service Tallahassee Online Spotter Training,” the presenter is Kelly Godsey, one of the Weather Analysts at the Tallahassee National Weather Service center. Kelly has an excellent program which is informative and focused on our area’s weather.
This is an opportunity to get your basic spotter training from the National Weather Service via an online webinar classroom and it can be taken from any location with high speed internet access. The class below is a basic class for those that have never taken the spotter training or a good refresher course for anyone that has taken the class and needs a brush up on your skills.
An advanced class is scheduled for March 23rd and registration information will be available soon.

EmComm Level 1 Class
Jefferson County ARES is sponsoring an EmComm Level 1 class for anyone needing to add this class to their ARES resume.
This is a 24-hour class, taught in three 8-hour sessions. The dates are March 13th, March 27th, and April 3rd. The test will be given following the class session on April 3rd, and the cost for taking the test is $14.
The class will be held at the new Jefferson County EOC located in Monticello, Florida. For further information, contact the Jefferson EC, Roberta Maddox at k4hrm@arrl.net

March Meeting – March 6
As usual the March meeting will be at The Plaza Restaurant in downtown Thomasville on Saturday, March 6. All are welcome to join us at 6:00 pm for the before meeting dinner.
The meeting itself will start around 7:30 pm. There is much to discuss as many events are being planned. Hope to see you there!
