Bobby Cooper Van Fund Raffle

TARC Members,

As you know, Bobby has been having quite a time for the last year with transfers in his current van. As it has a driver’s seat, he has to slide from the wheelchair to the driver’s seat and back any time he goes anywhere.

For 2009, that has caused him to fall twice at the cost of several broken bones….that simply can’t happen again.

The van itself, an early 1990′s model Ford, has had numerous recent mechanical problems, both the van itself and the lifting ramp that he uses to get inside. Coupled with a high thirst for ever more expensive gas, the time has arrived for its retirement.

The raffle detailed below is one of several ongoing money raising events to help offset the cost of replacing the van. Whether you need a shotgun or not, you can donate to help him with the purchase through his church, First Newark Baptist, which is the location of the 2010 Radio Reunion.

To coin an old phrase…”give until it feels good!”….73 de Mike
