The event will be held rain or shine. Admission will be free. There will be plenty of free outdoor tailgating under the shade trees and if you want indoor tables there is a nominal fee of $5.00 per table.

We’ll also have plenty to eat, so come hungry.  Our ARRL  Section Manager will have an ARRL booth, we’ll have VE test sessions at 10 am the morning of the hamfest, we’ll have a kids lounge, and we’ll be cooking up some other events as we get nearer to the hamfest.

We’ll have prizes and drawings hourly, starting at 9 am. Tickets are $1.00 each and can be gotten at the event or in advance from the club. The Grand Prize will be a Yaesu FT-7900R 2m/440 FM transceiver and second prize will be an FT-60R 2m/440 HT. You don’t need to be present to win either of the top two prizes.

For boneyard items - if you are looking to “try before you buy” we will have a power supply and antenna available for both HF and VHF/UHF.

If you need more information please contact Lowell NY4D at ny4d@arrl.net or call 229-289-5952. Talk-in will be on the 147.195 repeater: 141.3 tone and positive offset.

Please put this event on your calendar. Check back often for current information, as we’ll be updating the page more often with news and information as we get closer to the event.
